李明哲遭中國法院指控「顛覆國家政權」，判處5年刑期，「尋找李明哲」的臉書專頁隨後在中午也上傳一段李淨瑜接受訪問的直播影片。影片中李淨瑜表示，審判後中國當局有讓她與李明哲會面不到3分鐘，?李明哲則暗示身上被裝有監聽器，但也交代了一些事，包括希望李凈瑜能幫忙買書；李凈瑜在影片中也表示，對結果沒有意不意外的問題，「沒有案情，因為沒有法庭」。

審判後李凈瑜在飯店接受訪問，並於「尋找李明哲」的臉書上直播，李凈瑜指出，庭審後她與李明哲見面不到3分鐘，但李明哲手指按在唇上，並指著胸前，用手勢暗示李凈瑜自己身上被裝了監聽器，但李凈瑜仍向其表示自由世界並沒有放棄這樣的政治良心犯，把世界的訊息帶給他是自己唯一能做的。

影片中，李凈瑜表示，李明哲在「被認罪」後，聯合國有通知她，將繼續受理李明哲一案，因為聯合國並不接受中國官方的回應，就如同美麗島事件的國際救援一樣，世界各國並沒有放棄李明哲，沒有放棄政治良心犯，國際救援仍在努力。李明哲也交代了幾件事，包括希望李凈瑜幫忙買幾本書，因為那些書都是不可能寄到中國監獄的。

李凈瑜也告訴李明哲，3月以來她便決定不聘請律師，因為中國法庭所審判的東西，皆屬於言論自由範疇，在文明國度是不會承認這樣言論自由的審判，但她會用文明國家對於政治良心犯的國際救援方式，明年2月也會到聯合國報告李明哲事件。

至於審判後下一步該怎麼行動，李凈瑜也表示，把自由世界的訊息帶給李明哲是必須要做的事情，至於結果是兩人要共同面對的，但對於不上訴、及日後爭取「保外就醫」或「刑期過半後的假釋」等，「在中國有效」的行動方面，李凈瑜則表示對這樣的法庭審判並不承認，並不進入案情，故3月以來便不委任律師，放棄辯護，只做人權訴求，及國際手段的人道救援。

李凈瑜在影片中也再次宣讀了聲明，表示「追求理想必須支付代價」，李明哲明知山有虎，他早就覺悟必須為此承受「被認罪」、「被囚禁」的折磨。不心存幻想，只是坦然面對，沒有權利抱怨。作為李明哲的妻子，以李明哲的奉獻為榮為傲。
